El presente estudio busca mostrar que la poesía es otra manera de producción de conocimiento, más allá de la racionalidad instrumental y la mentalidad tecnocientífica. La relación poesía, poeta y poema es el método para buscar la posibilidad de otra manera de conocer al mundo, al hombre y a Dios. Metodológicamente, se pretende realizar un diálogo con aquellos autores que han convertido la poesía en episteme, en otra posibilidad de expresar y habitar el mundo desde una visión antropológica que se (...) abre a nuevos lenguajes y nuevas formas de empalabrar la realidad, tomando distancia de un discurso unívoco que nombra la realidad desde el empirismo científico. The paper brings into light and discusses a concentric solar model briefly described in Chapter 5 of Section III of ‘Abd al-Raḥmān al-Khāzinī’s On experimental astronomy, a treatise embedded in the prolegomenon of his comprehensive Mu‘tabar zīj, completed about 1121 c.e. In it, the Sun is assumed to rotate on the circumference of a circle concentric with the Earth and coplanar with the ecliptic, but the motion of the vector joining the Earth and Sun is monitored by a small eccentric (...) hypocycle. The ratio between the distance of the hypocycle’s center from the Earth and the hypocycle’s radius is equal to the solar eccentricity in the eccentric model. The model is to account for the constancy of the apparent diameter of the solar disk as held by Ptolemy. The source of the model is unknown. Since the mechanism employed in it clearly resembles the pin-and-slot device, whose use in mechanical astronomical instruments has a long history from the Antikythera Mechanism to the medieval solar, lunar, and planetary equatoria and dials, we argue that the solar model can be positioned within this long-standing tradition and considered the result of the correct understanding of some Byzantine prototype and thus a typical example of the transmission of astronomical ideas via media of the material culture. En la discusión de la teoría de la mente hay dos enfoques que han intentado explicar la atribución de estados psicológicos: la teoría-teoría y la teoría de la simulación. El rasgo distintivo de ambos enfoques es que defienden un proceso cognitivo unimodal de explicación de la lectura de mentes, sea de teorización o simulación. En este trabajo se discuten las implicaciones que tienen estos enfoques en la investigación filosófica y empírica, y se defiende la tesis de que la lectura de (...) mentes no es una capacidad unimodal. Se presentan varias de las inconsistencias de la TT y la TS al buscar un acoplamiento con la evidencia empírica en psicología y neurociencia cognitiva, lo que refleja que, en efecto, la atribución de estados mentales no es el resultado de un proceso cognitivo único. Se concluye que son varios los procesos cognitivos, con distinciones de nivel y complejidad funcional encargados del reconocimiento y atribución de estados psicológicos en los demás, lo que exige un enfoque híbrido, integrativo, pluralista y coherente de la lectura de mentes. This paper presents and discusses two central assumptions of this theory: the independence of S1 and S2 and the encapsulation of S1. It is argued that findings on longitudinal trajectories in infancy on the false belief test and visual perspective taking undermine the two-system theory in three respects: (1) S1 is not encapsulated, (...) (2) S1 is not entirely automatic processing, and (3) S2 cognitive processes can be fast and efficient. The paper concludes that mindreading operates through different socio-cognitive processes that are gradually and continuously enriched during development, which eliminates the need for a two-system characterization. Uno de los problemas más importantes y controvertidos en la filosofía evolutiva de Peirce ha sido el estudio de los principios sobre los cuales se da la evolución en la vida y el universo. La doctrina del agapasticismo es la base de su visión cosmológica que busca, mediante un principio creador, conectar a los seres vivientes y al universo a través de una fuerza vital, a saber, el amor.En este artículo buscaré presentar la doctrina del agapismo de Peirce en la (...) cual plantea que el amor, la empatía, el altruismo y la compasión son diversas formas en que los seres vivientes y el universo evolucionan en un complejo proceso de interconexión. Se buscará defender que la idea del amor, encarnada en el agapismo Peirciano, opera en la vida social y es la base sobre la cual es posible la convivencia y el sentido de comunidad entre seres humanos, sin la cual no es posible la evolución ni el progreso social. Finalmente, se establecerá que el sentido de empatía y comunidad que se enraíza en la idea agapastica de Peirce se da en un continuo, en donde la educabilidad en el amor es el principio sobre el cual se debe edificar la sociedad, y en este sentido, el trasfondo filosófico no es una teoría lógica de la evolución, sino una que es tanto ética como estética. The extended system method of Nosé and Hoover for the control of temperature of a classical ensemble if applied to the de Broglie-Bohm-Vigier formulation of quantum mechanics. This allows for the simulation of the motion of a quantum particle at a constant preset temperature. A specific algorithm for numerical solution of the resulting equations of motion, based on the application of the methods of molecular dynamics simulation, is provided.

The last four sections of the first book of Abū al-Barakāt al-Baghdādī’s summa, entitled Kitāb al-Mu‘tabar, deal with dialectics, sophistical refutations, rhetoric, and poetics in full line with Aristotle’s Organon. However, they are not so much based on Aristotle’s works, but on a work of the young Ibn Sīnā, namely al-Ḥikma al-‘Arūdiyya. Both texts have much in common not only in their structure, but also in their very wording. The article presents a basic survey of the correspondences for all four (...) sections and also highlights the most significant differences. However, important part of these differences has a counterpart in an logical text, which is present in the manuscript Nuruosmaniye 4894 and which is, in turn, very close to, albeit not identical, with Ibn Sīnā’s al-Ḥikma al-‘Arūdiyya as conserved in the unique manuscript Uppsala 364. Therefore, it is obvious that Abū al-Barakāt takes over many formulations and, at once, many ideas from Ibn Sīnā. However, he adds clearly personal elements that often seem to have been religiously inspired and, on occasion, consciously returns to Aristotle’s wording. (shrink)

From this abbreviated deck, deal two cards to a friend. If he looks at his cards and announces that his hand contains an ace, what is the (...) probability that both his cards are aces? Some recent discussions of A. N. Whitehead's treatment of the problem of value have stressed the point that his work in this field is open to serious objection. For example, Professor John Goheen claims that Whitehead's attempt to indicate distinguishing characteristics of experience of “the Good”, is too general to be adequate. He also suggests that this generality of approach makes it impossible for Whitehead to differentiate between different species of value. Further, according to Goheen, Whitehead involves himself in confusion (...) when he claims that satisfaction is achieved when experience is characterized by order ; and yet he also suggests that in some cases, the presence of disorder makes possible a higher type of satisfaction. Professor P. A. Schilpp agrees with Goheen in feeling that Whitehead's explanation of the good life in terms of “pattern” is too vague. In Schilpp's opinion, Whitehead does not answer the basic question: “What kind of pattern?” There is a further objection to Whitehead's “theory of the close connection between morality and beauty,” because at times it looks like an actual identification. Schilpp also objects to what appears to be Whitehead's identification of “good” with “interest”. Finally, it is claimed by Schilpp that Whitehead subordinates goodness to beauty. This interpretation is apparently supported by Prof. George Morgan who states: “Truth and moral values are instrumental except in so far as they enhance beauty.” Professor B. Morris objects to Whitehead's attempt to apply the mathematical method to aesthetic experience. He suggests that the method of symbolic logic is too abstract to deal adequately with concrete aesthetic data. Professor J. W. Blyth, as the result of his examination of Whitehead's theory of truth, reaches the conclusion that “the various elements involved in Whitehead's theory of truth cannot be brought together in one coherent and consistent system. Provability logic is a modal logic for studying properties of provability predicates, and Interpretability logic for studying interpretability between logical theories. Their natural models are GL-models and Veltman models, for which the accessibility relation is well-founded. That’s why the usual counterexample showing the necessity of finite image property in Hennessy-Milner theorem (see [1]) doesn’t exist for them. However, we show that the analogous condition must still hold, by constructing two GL-models with worlds in them that are modally equivalent but not (...) bisimilar, and showing how these GL-models can be converted to Veltman models with the same properties. In the process we develop some useful constructions: games on Veltman models, chains, and general method of transformation from GL-models/frames to Veltman ones. (shrink)

Let $M$ be a saturated model of a superstable theory and let $G = \operatorname{Aut}(M)$. We study subgroups $H$ of $G$ which contain $G_{(A)}, A$ the algebraic closure of a finite set, generalizing results of Lascar [L] as well as giving an alternative characterization of the simple superstable theories of [P]. We also make some observations about good, locally modular regular types $p$ in the context of $p$-simple types.

It is a belief of the author that A Theory of Justice by John Rawls is one of the most fundamental works in moral philosophy written in the 20th century. The principal merit of the book is found in a conceptual framework for a systematic discussion of the issues arising in moral philosophy, political philosophy, and legal philosophy. These discussions lead to the formulation of interrelated criteria of rightness for jurisdiction, legislation, constitutional provisions, uncodified practices and behaviour of individuals. However, (...) the criteria offered by Rawls appear defective in certain conditions. They cannot fully support the principles of liberty and the principles of justice, nor the particular enactments contained in the just constitution. (shrink)

Individualism is not only a Western tradition. In the Zhuangzi we can also identify some elements which may be appropriately attributed to “individualism.” However, due to its particular cultural and philosophical background, Zhuangzian individualism has unique characteristics, which distinguish it from the variety of other individualist thoughts that have emerged in the West. Zhuangzi has a dynamic and open view on individual “self,” considering individuals as changing and unique beings rather than fixed and interchangeable “atoms”; he sets the unlimited Dao (...) as the ultimate source for individuals to conform to, thus releasing individual mind into a realm of infinite openness and freedom. The Zhuangzian individualism is “inward” rather than “outward,” concentrating on individual spirit rather than material interests and rights in social reality. The individualism in the Zhuangzi provides a spiritual space for the development of individuality in ancient China. It also provides an alternative understanding of individual as an existence. Marian Przełęcki defends the semantical conception of truth against involving it in difficulties of the said controversy.

This contribution is a criticism of some points David Carr brings forward both in his 1991 book (Educating the Virtues) but even more so in his 1996 article in this journal (After Kohlberg: Some Implications of an Ethics of Virtue for the Theory of Moral Education and Development). With the help of a virtue approach Carr tries to solve the moral objectivism-moral relativism dilemma and the deontologism-consequentialism dilemma in ethics. I will argue that his attempt, though very interesting, suffers from (...) some serious flaws and that, either, Carr's position is much closer to a Kantian approach than Carr thinks, or Carr's position needs a good deal of clarification. The Creative Citizenship project was founded to promote critical, ethical, and creative thinking in early childhood, and to recognize and encourage children as social actors and peacebuilders. In concert with the methodology of North American philosopher Matthew Lipman's Philosophy for Children (P4C), Creative Citizenship seeks to promote in children the ability to think critically, ethically, and creatively in and from their own realities, and to exercise multidimensional thinking skills in the various areas of their daily lives. The research documented here (...) adopted a qualitative approach in so far as it sought to inquire about the character of those relationships, particularly among boys and girls, that promote their identity as social agents. As such, it examined training processes and generated theoretical perspectives in the interest of promoting social transformation through the empowerment of multidimensional thinking. The article begins with a review of the concept of Creative Citizenship and ends with that of Peacebuilding. Three theoretical categories have been applied in order to situate the inquiry within the framework of the realities of childhood, and to chart the pedagogical interventions by adults that occurred throughout the implementation of the project. The first focuses on the development of children’s thinking per se, the second on children's capacities for creative problem-solving in social environments, and the third on the concept of peacebuilding as a commitment to practicing philosophical dialogue among children, which is understood as a form of discourse that builds the capacities of citizens to undertake individual and collective actions that allow them, in turn, to create and re-create scenarios of peaceful coexistence. al-Tabarsī is one of the glossators in the Shī‘ah gloss tradition in the second middle period or first sagacity period. al-Tabarsī who had a wide knowledge in the various knowledge branches was mentioned as a glossator, narrator of Mohammad’s all sayings, deeds and approvals and scribe. One of compilations that al-Tabarsī wrote it in the field of gloss is Macmau-l-bayān fī tafsīri-l-Qur’ān. The glossator who widely included the recitations in this work used some evidence related to their averment while he (...) was reporting the recitations, and he made the recitations’ justification in the framework. The averment is a science which determines the correct recitations as distinguishing the correct one of recitation’s differences from the deficient one, and which founds an aspect of the correct category with all the other transferred and linguistic arguments of recitation in the predilection besides the imputation, the formal Qur’ān. Al-Tabarsī first mentioned the recitations under the subtitle of recitation related to the verses in each sura and then transferred the argument of recitations with the term of argument. So the glossator applied to give evidence on them with the linguistic and transferred arguments in each of the parts that the recitations were nearly mentioned. He mentioned the imputation, the Qur’ān lettering, verse, hadith, companion and natural people’s readings. He used Arabic poetry, Arabic idiom, dialect, grammar and syntax rules for the linguistic arguments. In this study, the evidences which were used in the recitations’ averment are reviewed in the sample of al-Tabarsī’s gloss in the name of Majmau-l-bayān. Summary: Full name of al-Tabarsī who was one of the leading scholar of Shī‘a is Fadl b. Hasan b Fadl al-Tabarsī. He was born in Thabaristan. According to some narration he was born in village named Tafrish which is between Kashan and Isfahan. He was called al-Tabarsī by reference to his hometown Thabaristan, according to another opinion he was called al-Tabarsī which comes from his birth place known as Tafrish located between Kashan and Isfahan. Tafrish was translated into Arabic as Tabars. Also, the commentator was known with nicknames such as Amīnü’l-islām, Amīnü’d-dīn and Umdatü’l-Mufassīrīn. He was called Sebzevarī due to the place where he died and named Maşhadī and Ṭūsī because of the place where he was buried. Although he is proficient in many fields, he has been described in the sources as commentator, muhaddīth and faqīh. Mufassīr has written many works in Islamic sciences. one of his works written in the field of commentary is Mujmau-l-bayān fī tafsīri-l-Qurʾān. Mufassīr stated that he wrote this commentary by taking advantage of Ṭūsī 's (d. 460/1067) al-Tibyān by saying “It is a guide from which I benefited from Tibiān light, and I write the subjects on the basis of his method”. The author started to write this work with the encouragement of some of his friends after he had aged quite a bit and his hair turned white. and he saw a gap in this area. He spent a lot of effort to fill that gap. This commentary, written during the first dirayet of the Shī‘a exegesis, is more moderate than the previous periods of Shī‘a commentators. The most basic indicator of this is the definitive rejection of the falsification of the Qurʾān in this period. The second important indicator is that insults and degrading expressions about the first three of the hulafā-i rashid and some of the companions are not accepted. The third important indicator is that most of the verses have been interpreted in a manner that corresponds to the views of the Ahl al-Sunnah school in linguistic analyses and proved by appealing to Arabic poems and sayings. al-Tabarsī mentioned recitation almost in all verses as a subtopic. He performed this in the surah by using subtopics. Then he has used “hujjatuhu” (its evidence) expression to narrate the evident of qirāʾāt. By doing so, commentator grounded qirāʾāts by using their evidences utilizing linguistic and narrative evidences in nearly every mentioned qirāʾāts. İhtijaj is a science that determines the authentic readings by distinguishing authentic readings from the weak ones, and that grounds the reading in the choice of an angle, which is mentioned in the authentic category, with isnād, Mushaf script and all other narrative and linguistic evidences. There are two types of ihtijaj which are ihtijaj bi-l-qirāʾāt ve ihtijaj li-l-qirāʾāt. İhtijaj li-l-qirāʾāt uses the linguistic evidences such as isnād, Mushaf line, Arabic language, consumables-nahiv pedestals, polish differences and the narrative evidences such as verses, hadith, qirāʾāt, Arabic words and poetry in determination and preference of a reading aspect. ihtijaj bi-l-qirāʾāt is the use of kıraa as evidence for any matter of science. al-Tabarsī has also mentioned detection proofs which reveal the authentic ways of qirāʾāt like isnād and rasm al-mushaf. Isnād is attribution to whom take the qirāʾāt from previous persons. This proportion reaches up to the Prophet. The persons in the chain of isnād constitute this chain. al-Tabarsī has given in preface the names of the recitors and narrators, which are famous in the cities, based on the fact that an authentic attribute is the basic element in the determination of the qirāʾāh. Thus he passed on the chains of isnād that reached up to the Prophet. Another thing that al-Tabarsī used in the determination proof of qirāʾāh is rasm al-mushaf. The commentator has used the spelling of al-mushaf scripture as evidence by saying “written in al-mushaf like this”. al-Tabarsī, also mentioned preferable evidences about ways of qirāʾā’s proof. Preferred proofs, are evidence to make choosing between qirāʾāh whose authenticity is defined by means of determination proofs. These evidences are divided into two parts which are determination proofs-based and special. Special evidence has not relation with the determination proofs. It contains evidence categories used to prefer one of the two authentic qirāʾāh as special. These categories are divided into four parts: linguistic, transplant, mental and private. al-Tabarsī has evidenced with verses of narrative proofs in the preferred evidence category. The commentator has mentioned about this method for qirāʾā evidence extensively. He has grounded qirāʾāh by using verses. al-Tabarsī also has evidenced these matters by using words of the Prophet from narrative proofs in the preferred evidence category. In this method commentator has evidenced from hadith after mentioning qirāʾāh ways. al-Tabarsī evidences from narrative proofs with qirāʾāh preferred evidence category. In this context, the commentator mentioned recitation of companion and followers by saying his qirāʾāh after reporting qirāʾāh. Moreover, the commentator has sometimes mentioned recitations which is related with reading seven of the recitation and reading ten of the recitation sciences qurra recitation and sometimes mentioned recitations which are known as shadhdh. Then, he has examined these recitations with the qirāʾāh of companions and followers. al-Tabarsī has benefited from narrative evidences, Arabic poetry and phrase in the preferred evidence category extensively. Another evidence used for examination of qirāʾāh is linguistic evidences. Qirāʾāh are related with Arabic language because it has connection with Qur’ānic wording which revelated in Arabic. al-Tabarsī has benefited from some things such as Arabic grammar rules and dialectic differences extensively. The commentator has benefited from Arabic grammar by emphasizing the meaning of the words with the literary features. He has explained grammar statement related with qirāʾāh aspects. Resumo A bovinocultura de corte atualmente no Brasil é fundamental para o PIB, e dessa forma para que o ciclo da pecuária se torne completo e cada vez mais eficiente o início da maturidade sexual bovina precoce. Associado ao manejo adequado e a realização frequente da sincronização de estro em fêmeas de corte, obtivemos boas taxas de concepção no rebanho e provocando a heterose entre o zebuíno e o taurino. A eficiência reprodutiva se dá por meio da sincronização do cio, (...) que ocorre por meio do uso de hormônios nos protocolos de inseminação artificial, além de sêmen de touros bem avaliados e uma equipe especializada junto ao médico veterinário. O presente relato utilizou oitenta animais sendo cinquenta vacas e trinta novilhas, taxas de concepção em novilhas de 66% e nas primíparas 84%. Concluindo que é uma técnica eficiente para ganho genético rápido no rebanho. Palavras-Chave: bovinocultura; maturidade sexual; puberdade; sincronização de estro; hormônios. Abstract Beef cattle farming is currently essential for the GDP in Brazil, and thus, for the livestock cycle to become complete and increasingly efficient, early bovine sexual maturity begins. Associated with adequate management and frequent estrus synchronization in beef females, we obtained good conception rates in the herd and caused heterosis between zebu and taurine. Reproductive efficiency is achieved through estrus synchronization, which occurs through the use of hormones in artificial insemination protocols, in addition to semen from well-evaluated bulls and a specialized team together with the veterinarian. This report used eighty animals, fifty cows and thirty heifers, with conception rates in heifers of 66% and in primiparous cattle of 84%. A simple interpretation of quantity calculus is given. Quantities are described as two-place functions from objects, states or processes (or some combination of them) into numbers that satisfy the mutual measurability property. Quantity calculus is based on a notational simplification of the concept of quantity. A key element of the simplification is that we consider units to be intentionally unspecified numbers that are measures of exactly specified objects, states or processes. This interpretation of quantity calculus combines all the advantages of (...) calculating with numerical values (since the values of quantities are numbers, we can do with them everything we do with numbers) and all the advantages of calculating with standardly conceived quantities (calculus is invariant to the choice of units and has built-in dimensional analysis). This also shows that the standard metaphysics and mathematics of quantities and their magnitudes is not needed for quantity calculus. At the end of the article, arguments are given that the concept of quantity as defined here is a pivotal concept in understanding the quantitative approach to nature. As an application of this interpretation of quantity calculus, an easy proof of dimensional homogeneity of physical laws is given. (shrink)

A complex approach to Martin Buber’s oeuvre requires a consideration of both his dialogical and pre-dialogical writings. The latter include in some cases emphases that differ substantially from the emphases promulgated in Ich und Du. I will focus on three essays from the final stage of Buber’s pre-dialogical period which contain reflections on the fighting individual. The comparison with Ernst Jünger’s reflections on the same motif will show the intellectual proximity between the two authors and will help us understand how (...) Buber’s thought was positioned shortly before his dialogical turn. While after this turn Buber and Jünger could be easily seen as polar opposites, this is not the case when we juxtapose their early reflections on the fighting individual in World War I. There are striking similarities which I denote as a homology, as there is no evidence of influence in either direction. The presented analysis provides an insight into Buber’s controversial pre-dialogical positions as well as into the more general processing of the World War I experience in Germanophone philosophy. Bu çalışmanın amacı İbn Kesîr’in (öl. 774/1373) el-Bidâye ve’n-nihâye isimli tarih çalışmasının siyer bölümünde Sahîhayn hadislerini muhteva açısından tenkidinin araştırılması ve tahlilidir. Çalışmamızın konusu ise İbn Kesîr’in mezkûr eserinde yirmi Sahihayn hadisini Kur’ân-ı Kerîm (3 hadis), akıl (1 hadis), icmâ (1 hadis), sahih hadisler (7 hadis) ve sağlam târihî bilgilere (8 hadis) uygunluk/aykırılık kıstaslarını kullanarak tenkidi ve on dört hadiste izah getiremediği yanlışların birer hata olduğunu kaydetmesidir. İbn Kesîr’in incelenen hadislerin muhteva tenkidine müsait bir hâle gelmesine yol açan râvi tasarruflarına (...) dair verdiği bilgiler ayrıca kıymetlidir. Bu çalışmanın kapsamını oluşturan hadislerden yedi tanesi hem Sahîh-i Buhârî hem Sahîh-i Müslim, altı tanesi sadece Sahîh-i Buhârî, yedi tanesi de sadece Sahîh-i Müslim’de yer almaktadır. Hem Sahîh-i Buhârî hem Sahîh-i Müslim’de yer alan hadisler Hayber’de müt‘a nikahının yasaklanışı, Rasulullah’ın (s.a.v.) umre ve hacca niyeti, Hz. Peygamber’in gümüş yüzüğü atması, kıblenin değişimi haberinin Kubâ’ya ertesi sabah ulaşması, namazda konuşma yasağının zamanı, ye’cûc ve me’cûc’un seddinin delinmesi ve Hz. Peygamber’in (s.a.v.) miras bırakmaması konulu hadislerdir. Sadece Sahîh-i Buhârî’de geçen hadisler isranın vahiy gelmesinden önce vukuu, Hamrâülesed seferine katılanların sayısı, Sa‘d b. Araştırmamızın yöntemi kaynak taraması ve sonuçların diğer şarihlerinkiyle mukayeseli tahlilidir. Araştırmamızın sonucunda eleştirilen hadislerin büyük bir kısmında İbn Kesîr’in değerlendirmelerinin İbn Hacer ve Nevevî gibi muhaddislerinkinden farklı olduğu görülmüştür. Çalışmamızın önemi İbn Kesîr’in tenkitlerinin muhaddislerin senedin sıhhatinin metnin sıhhatini temin etmeyeceğine dair tespitlerinin uygulamadaki somut delillerini oluşturmasıdır. Kısaca İbn Kesîr’in, eserine güçlü tenkit zihniyetini, özgün görüşlerini ve geniş ilmî birikimini başarıyla yansıttığı görülmektedir. (shrink)

Bu makale İhvân-ı Safâ’nın (IV/X.) insan tasavvuru ekseninde, insanın büyük âlemle olan benzerliğine odaklanarak onun küçük âlem olarak konumlandırılmasını felsefî açıdan analiz etmekte ve bu düşüncenin tasavvufî uzantılarını incelemektedir. İhvân, insanları iyiliğe davet etme amacıyla ortaya çıkan bir hareket olarak insana büyük önem vermekte ve risalelerinin neredeyse tamamında insana dair bazı açıklamalarda bulunmaktadır. Onlara göre insan, âlemle neredeyse özdeş bir misaldir. Bu çerçevede insan hem bedeniyle maddi hem de ruhuyla manevi anlamda âlemle benzer özelliklere sahiptir. İnsanda maddi ve manevi yönlerin (...) bir arada bulunması da onun alemle olan benzerliğini ortaya koyan önemli bir unsurdur. Bu minvalde iki bölüm olarak kurgulanan makalenin ilk bölümünde insanın maddesel boyutu olan bedeninin oluşumu ve temel yapı taşları incelenmektedir. Sıklıkla ev ve şehir metaforları kullanan İhvân’a göre beden, insanın taşıdığı ruh için bir mesken olarak yaratılmıştır. Bu beden, tıpkı bir şehrin oluşumunda kullanılan taşlar ve demir gibi, birçok farklı unsurdan meydana gelmiştir. İnsanın yaratılış evreleri ve bu unsurların bedeni nasıl oluşturduğuna dair pek çok açıklama içeren Resâil’de insanın temel olarak dört farklı tabiat (sıcaklık, soğukluk, yaşlık ve kuruluk) üzerine yaratıldığı vurgulanmaktadır. Makalenin ikinci bölümünde nefsin iç ve dış güçleri, bu güçlerin bedenle ilişkisi başta olmak üzere İhvân’a göre insanın maddeyi aşan boyutu olan nefsin epistemolojik yapısı Gazzâlî ve İbn Sînâ gibi İslam filozoflarının görüşleriyle mukayeseli olarak analiz edilmektedir. Bu bölümün devamında İhvân’ın bilgi anlayışı doğrultusunda insanın kendini tanıması yoluyla evrensel bilgiye ulaşabileceği iddiası değerlendirilmektedir. Bu iddiada anahtar cümle olan “men ‘arefe nefsehu ‘arefe’l-‘ulûme küllehâ” ifadesi söz konusu bilgi anlayışının temelinde yer alan bir tespit olarak sunulmaktadır. Ayrıca bu düşüncenin sonraki gelenek üzerinde derin bir etki bıraktığı iddiası tasavvuf eserlerinden yapılan alıntılarla desteklenmektedir. Makalede ayrıca İhvân’ın kullandığı temsilî anlatım tarzının öğretici bir yöntem olmasının yanı sıra metafizik anlam dünyasının inşasında da kullanıldığına dikkat çekilmektedir. Nitekim insan bedeni ile evren arasında kurulan temsilî ilişkiler İbn Arabî tarafından sistemleştirilen “kevn-i câmi‘” ve “halife” kavramlarının temel öncüllerine işaret etmektedir. Buradan hareketle insanın bireysel bir varlık değil aynı zamanda Levh-i Mahfuzun muhtasarı olarak evrensel bilgiye ulaşma potansiyeline sahip bir özne olduğu vurgulanmaktadır. Sonuç olarak bu makale İhvân’ın insan-nefs-âlem ilişkisi hakkındaki düşüncelerini sistematik bir şekilde ele almayı ve bu düşünceyi merkeze alarak İslam düşünce geleneğinde insanın bilgiye ulaşma noktasında sahip olduğu önemi felsefî olarak temellendirmekte ve tasavvuftaki açılımlarına muhtasar bir şekilde işaret etmeyi amaçlamaktadır. A graph-theoretic account of logics is explored based on the general notion of m-graph (that is, a graph where each edge can have a finite sequence of nodes as source). Signatures, interpretation structures and deduction systems are seen as m-graphs. After defining a category freely generated by a m-graph, formulas and expressions in general can be seen as morphisms. Moreover, derivations involving rule instantiation are also morphisms. Soundness and completeness theorems are proved. As a consequence of the generality of the (...) approach our results apply to very different logics encompassing, among others, substructural logics as well as logics with nondeterministic semantics, and subsume all logics endowed with an algebraic semantics. Önceki semavi kitapların tahrifi, Kur’an’ın mevsûkiyeti konusunda Müslümanları daha hassas davranma psikolojisine sevk etmiştir. Kur’an’ın Hz. Peygamber tarafından yazdırılması ve sahabeler tarafından ezberlenilmesi ve sonraki süreçlerde; korunması, doğru okunması, lafızlarının muhafazası ve Mushaf üzerine yapılan ve yine sahih okumaya yönelik tasarrufların hepsi önemli addedilmiştir. Kur’an’ın cem’i, istinsahı, noktalama ve harekeleme işlemleri, yaşanmakta olan sosyal, kültürel ve ilmî sürecin bir gereği olarak ihtiyaca mebni gayretler olduğu görülmektedir. Bu çalışmada, Kur’an’ın noktalanması ve harekelenmesi; tarihi seyri, sosyo-kültürel, ilmî ve siyasi saikleri ile ele (...) alınmıştır. Ayrıca ehl-i ilim olmayanların nakt ve i’cam olmadan Kur’an’ın okumasının imkânı meselesi örnekler vermek suretiyle değerlendirilmiş ve Dânî’nin bu konu üzerine yazmış olduğu başyapıtlardan sayılabilecek üç eseri bu bağlamda tanıtılmıştır. Bu araştırmada, Hz. Peygamber tarafından noktalama ve harekeleme yapılmadığı halde ümmet-i Muhammed’in böyle bir tasarrufa gitmesinin tahrif değil, Kur’an’ın doğru ve sahih/kolay okunmasına bir hizmet olduğu zımnen ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu çalışmada, tefsirde yorum ya da başka bir deyişle te’vil bilgisine ulaştıran epistemik araçlar üze rinde durulmaktadır. Bu araçlar, geniş anlamıyla bir metot, yöntem veya yaklaşım değil daha spesifik ve pratiğe yönelik işlemleri ifade etmektedir. Çalışmada tefsirde bilgiye ulaşmada kullanılan araçların neler olduğu ve nasıl işlediğinin mevcut tefsir kaynakları üzerinden tespit edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, bir müfessirin âyetleri açıklarken yaptığı tasvir ve analizler, akıl yürütme ve yorumlamalarda takip ettiği sistem, görüşlerini delillendirme ya da aksi görüşleri çürütme nokta sında kullandığı (...) ve uyguladığı pratiklerin ortaya çıkarılması hedeflenmektedir. Söz konusu hedeflerin gerçekleşmesine yönelik olarak, yaklaşım ve dönem ayrımı yapmaksızın birçok tefsir, doküman analizi yöntemi ile tetkik edilmiştir. Kur’ân metninin anlaşılıp yorumlanmasında kullanılan epistemik araç lar, Kur’ân metninin özelliklerine bağlı olarak gelişmiştir. Ayrıca bu epistemik araçların gelişmesinde müfessirlerin entelektüel ve düşünsel arka planının da oldukça aktif rol aldığı söylenebilir. Bu nedenle İslam düşüncesinde etkin olan ve tefsir üzerinde de etkileri gözlemlenen fıkıh ve kelam ilimlerinin yöntem ve tekniklerini konu alan usûl kitapları ayrıca akıl yürütmenin ana esaslarını tayin eden man tık ilmi ve felsefe alanındaki bazı kaynaklar da incelenen dokümanlar arasında yer almıştır. Neticede tefsir ilminde, âyetlerin anlaşılıp yorumlanması sırasında, bir müfessirin, çoğunlukla birbirini izleyen farklı üç aşamadan müteşekkil bir süreci takip ettiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır: Tasvir ve tahlil, çıkarım ve yorumlama, diyalektik/cedel. Bu aşamaların her birinde de üzerinde çalışılan âyetin lafız ve üslup özelliklerine bağlı olarak değişebilen farklı birçok epistemik aracın kullanıldığı görülmüştür. (shrink)

Bu çalışma, Suudi Arabistan’ın dış politikasını stratejik hedging kuramsal çerçevesi üzerinden sistematik bir şekilde incelemektedir. Stratejik hedging, uluslararası ilişkiler literatüründe, orta ölçekli güçlerin büyük güç rekabetlerinin yoğunlaştığı ve uluslararası sistemin dönüşüm geçirdiği dönemlerde belirsizlikleri yönetmek, riskleri asgariye indirmek ve stratejik özerkliklerini azami düzeye çıkarmak amacıyla başvurdukları çok katmanlı bir dış politika yaklaşımı olarak kavramsallaştırılmaktadır. Bu bağlamda, Suudi dış politikasını yalnızca ikili ilişkiler bağlamında değil, aynı zamanda çok kutupluluğa yönelen uluslararası düzenin genel dinamikleri ışığında konumlandırmak, Riyad’ın son dönemde geliştirdiği yönelimlerin anlaşılabilmesi (...) açısından elzemdir. Araştırma, özellikle Suudi Arabistan’ın hem tarihsel ve kurumsal bağlarla şekillenmiş geleneksel güvenlik ortağı olan Amerika Birleşik Devletleri (ABD) ile ilişkilerini hem de yükselen küresel aktörler konumundaki Çin ve Rusya ile geliştirdiği stratejik angajmanları analiz etmektedir. Bu bağlamda çalışmanın temel argümanı, ABD’nin küresel güvenlik mimarisindeki görece geri çekilme eğilimleri ve Amerikan tek kutupluluğunun aşamalı erozyonu, Suudi Arabistan açısından geleneksel güvenlik garantilerinin sürdürülebilirliğini sorgulanır hale getirdiği be bu durumun Riyad’ı hem güvenlik hem de ekonomik alanlarda tek taraflı bağımlılığın risklerini azaltmak üzere yeni stratejik ortaklıklar geliştirmeye yönelttiğidir. Bu çerçevede, çalışma “Uluslararası sistemin tek kutupluluktan çok kutupluluğa doğru evrimi ile birlikte iç ekonomik zorunlulukların etkisi, Suudi Arabistan’ı nasıl bir riskten korunma politikasına yönelttiği ve ülkeyi bir orta ölçekli güç olarak yeniden konumlandırmaya sevk etti?” temel araştırma sorusunu cevaplamaya çalışmaktadır. Çalışmanın bulguları, ekonomik çeşitlendirme ve yapısal dönüşüm hedefleri ile küresel güç dağılımındaki kaymaların birbirini tamamlayıcı biçimde Riyad’ı hem Çin hem de Rusya ile daha kurumsallaşmış ve çok boyutlu ilişkiler geliştirmeye zorladığını ortaya koymaktadır. Dolayısıyla Suudi Arabistan’ın dış politikasında gözlemlenen stratejik hedging yaklaşımı, literatürde angajman ile yumuşak dengeleme (soft-balancing) unsurlarının bileşimi olarak tanımlanan ve bir yandan bağımlılık ilişkilerini azaltırken diğer yandan doğrudan çatışmadan kaçınmayı amaçlayan yaklaşımıyla örtüşmektedir. Bu strateji sayesinde Riyad, hem rejim güvenliğini teminat altına almakta, hem stratejik özerklik kapasitesini artırmakta, hem de bölgesel düzeyde nüfuzunu pekiştirerek değişen küresel düzen içerisinde daha esnek ve manevra kabiliyeti yüksek bir konum elde etmektedir. Em O anti-Édipo, Deleuze & Guattari propõem uma filosofia maquínica que vai do inconsciente às máquinas sociais, da produção desejante à produção social, da economia libidinal à economia política. Essa filosofia, que está na base de sua proposição de uma “história universal da contingência”, atravessada por diferentes máquinas sociais, propõe uma original “ontologia social da produção”: ontologia pois remete às bases da constituição do ser; social pois é imediatamente atravessada e imbricada pelas questões sociopolíticas; e da produção pois essa categoria (...) tem centralidade absoluta nas suas elocubrações teóricas. Demonstramos o quanto essa ontologia social é devedora da obra de Marx tanto em seu conteúdo quanto em sua metodologia, com as sínteses do inconsciente sendo análogas às categorias marxianas de produção, distribuição e consumo. Demonstramos também como se passa do regime produtivo das máquinas desejantes ao registro dessa produção em uma instância fetichista chamada de corpo pleno. Por fim, trazemos a categoria de antiprodução, que qualifica o conceito de corpo pleno, e demonstramos sua inspiração na economia geral proposta por Georges Bataille e em sua preocupação com o excesso e o dispêndio improdutivo. A antiprodução será o que faz com que o corpo pleno, seja ele o da terra, do déspota ou do capital, mesmo que não produtivos, registrem e se apropriem da produção sóciodesejante e distribua uma falta onde há desejo e riqueza em abundância. Cezâi şart asıl sözleşmeye bağlı fer’î bir nitelik taşıyan hukukî işlemdir. Asıl sözleşmenin geçersiz olması durumunda cezâi şart geçersizdir. Cezâî şart, sözleşmeye taraf olan kişileri yükümlülüklerini (...) yerine getirmeye teşvik eden ve ihlal durumunda zarar gören tarafı tazmin etmeyi amaçlayan bir mekanizma olarak işlev görmektedir. Cezâî şart, tazminat ile benzerlik gösterse de tazminattan farklı kendine özgü bir hukukî işlemdir. Cezâî şart, borcun hiç ya da gereği gibi ifa edilmemesi durumunda seçimlik cezâî şart, belirlenen zaman ve yerde ifa edilmemesi halinde ise de ifaya eklenen cezâî şart şeklinde çeşitlerden oluşmaktadır. Ayrıca tarafların kendi özgür iradeleri ile kararlaştırdıkları cezâî şartın aşırı yüksek olması durumunda borçlu hâkime başvurarak indirilmesini talep edebilir. Hâkim cezâî şart miktarını fazla bulması durumunda takdir yetkisini kullanarak miktarın indirilmesine karar verebilir. Cezâî şart günümüzde birçok hukukî işleme konulmaktadır. İstisnâ‘ sözleşmesinde de eserin teslim tarihi işsahibi açısından büyük önem taşıyabileceğinden ifa zamanına uyulmaması durumunda ödenmek üzere bir cezâî şart kararlaştırılmaktadır. İstisnâ‘, zimmette sabit olan mebî‘ üzerinde işçiliğin/amelin şart olduğu nitelikleri önceden belirlenmiş bir eseri/masnû‘ meydana getirmek için yapılmış ivazlı bir sözleşmedir. İstisnâ‘, iki tarafa borç yükleyen bir sözleşme olduğu için her bir taraf diğerine karşı aslî bir edim yüklemektedir. İstisnâ‘ sözleşmesinde yüklenici sipariş verilen eseri sözleşmede belirlenen koşullara uygun olarak meydana getirip zilyetlik ve mülkiyetini iş sahibine devretme, işsahibi de bedel ödeme borcu altına girmektedir. Çalışmamızda istisnâ‘ sözleşmesinde cezâî şart konusu ile ilgili metinler üzerinden detaylı bir analiz yapılarak yüklenicinin eseri teslim borcu, cezâî şartın hukukî niteliği, cezâî şart tazminat ilişkisi, cezâî şartın çeşitleri, yüklenicinin eseri zamanında ya da hiç teslim etmemesi durumunda istisnâ‘ sözleşmesinde cezâî şart konulup konulamayacağı ele alınmaktadır. Metinler üzerinden yaptığımız analiz neticesinde istisnâ‘ sözleşmesinde cezâî şartın, sözleşme özgürlüğü ile yargısal denetim arasındaki dengeyi vurgulamakta, bu şartın uygulanmasında ölçülülük ve adalet ilkelerinin önemini ortaya koymaktadır. Sonuç olarak, bu çalışma, günümüzde sözleşmelerde cezâî şartın rolü ve etkinliği konusunda devam eden hukuki tartışmalara katkı sağlamayı amaçlamaktadır. (shrink)

The objective of this work is to reconstruct the concepts of constellation, parataxis and essay, from the perspective of Theodor Adorno, in order to approach them by affinity, but demonstrating the way that each one expresses within its specificities the Adorno’s insistence in a model of thought in which the non-identical: 1) resists conceptual subsumption by arranging itself in a constellatory configuration; 2) it does not succumb to subordinate juxtapositions typical of merely communicative language; and, 3) finds its best philosophical (...) expression in the essay form. In order to do so, we will take as a starting point the adornian reconstruction of the constellation category as a legacy of Walter Benjamin’s thought, so that later we can present the expansion of this category in Adorno’s thought, relating it both to the conception of parataxis as in the conception of the essay form, but aiming to understand these categories as way of thinking philosophically aiming to elucidate the place of the non-identical in the scope of dialectical thinking of Theodor Adorno. “Eşik Kavramlar Teorisi” (Threshold Concepts Theory), Türkiye akademik literatüründe henüz yeterince tanınmayan bir eğitim teorisi olarak, Din Eğitimi Bilimi içinde tartışılması, değerlendirilmesi ve çok yönlü olarak ele alınması gereken bir modern dönem eğitim teorisi olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Bu teori, sosyal yapılandırmacı olan David Perkins’in ‘sorunlu bilgi’ (troublesome knowledge) düşüncesinden yola çıkan ekonomistler Erik Meyer ve Ray Land tarafından 2003 yılında geliştirilmiştir. Dünya genelinde çeşitli disiplinlerden araştırmacıların katkılarıyla zenginleştirilen Eşik Kavramlar Teorisi, şu anda eğitimsel bir yaklaşım olarak farklı alanlarda uygulanmaktadır. Eşik (...) Kavramlar Teorisi, en temelde kavramların niteliklerine ve öğretim süreçlerine odaklanmaktadır. Doğaları gereği sorunlu bilgi olarak kabul edilen zorlu kavramların öğretim esnasında bazı problemlere yol açtığını öngörmektedir. Teori, öncelikle bu kavramların zorluklarının farkında olmayı ve ardından öğrencinin öğrenme sürecinde bu engelleri aşmasına rehberlik etmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bu noktada, öğretmenlerin teoriyle olan ilişkisi ve öğretim içeriğini buna uygun olarak yapılandırabilme becerisi belirleyici bir rol oynamaktadır. Bu nedenle teori, öğrenme süreçlerinin dönüşümü, öğrenci merkezli öğrenmenin derinleştirilmesi ve öğretmen eğitimi ve uzmanlıkları gibi konularda pedagojik bir perspektif sunmaktadır. Makalede, öncelikle Eşik Kavramlar Teorisi’nin tanıtımına, kavramsallaştırılması sürecine ve genel değerlendirilmesine yer verilmiştir. Bu çerçevede, büyük ölçüde İngilizce kaynaklardan oluşan kapsamlı bir literatür taraması gerçekleştirilmiş, ilgili çalışmalar içerik analizi yöntemiyle değerlendirilerek arşivlenmiştir. Teorinin ortaya çıkışından gelişimine kadar geçen süreçte yöneltilen eleştiriler de ele alınarak disiplinlerarası bir bakış açısıyla bütüncül bir değerlendirme sunulmuştur. Çalışma, nitel araştırma yöntemi temelinde yürütülmüş olup, literatür analizi yoluyla teorik bir çerçeve oluşturmak amaçlanmıştır. Literatürdeki çalışmalar temel alınarak yapılan bu teorik değerlendirmede, Eşik Kavramlar Teorisi’nin Din Eğitimi Bilimi alanında özgün bir perspektif olma potansiyeli ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırmanın temel amacı, Eşik Kavramlar Teorisi’ni Türkiye Din Eğitimi Bilimine tanıtmak olduğundan, kesin sınırları belirlenmiş bir model sunmak yerine, teorinin bu bağlamdaki işlevselliğini tartışmaya açan bir çerçeve oluşturulmuştur. Ön çalışma niteliğindeki bu araştırma, Türkiye’deki İslam Din Öğretimi süreçlerinde Eşik Kavramlar Teorisinin pedagojik değerine dikkat çekmektedir. Gelecekte yapılacak ampirik çalışmalar için bir başlangıç noktası oluşturmakta olan bu çalışma nitel yöntemle oluşturulmuş kuramsal bir zemin olma potansiyeli taşımaktadır. Makale kapsamında “cihad”, “hak”, “halife” ve “emanet” gibi kavramlar eşik kavram özellikleri bakımından ele alınmış ve bu örnekler tablolar halinde sunularak her biri pedagojik potansiyelleri açıdan kısaca değerlendirilmiştir. Bu kavramların din öğretimi açısından eşik niteliği taşımaları bireyin düşünsel ve duygusal dünyasında epistemolojik ve ontolojik kırılmalar yaratma niteliklerinden kaynaklanmaktadır. Bu nedenle çalışmada, teorinin pedagojik katkılarının yanı sıra tanımsal belirsizlikleri, bağlamsal sınırlılıkları ve evrensel geçerliliğe dair tartışmaları da ayrıca ele alınmıştır. Böylelikle teorinin İslam din öğretimi içinde ancak bağlam duyarlılığı yüksek ve eleştirel bir tutum ile uygulanması gerektiği vurgulanmıştır. (shrink)

Şeyh Mahmûd ez-Zokaydî (ö. 1877-1945), döneminin önemli âlimlerden biri olup muhtelif ilimlere dair yirmi bir eser telif etmiştir. Kaleme alınan bu eserlerin büyük bir kısmı akademik çalışmalarda tez ve makale olarak incelenmiştir. Bu çalışmada, Mahmûd ez-Zokaydî’nin medrese öğrencilerinde eksik gördüğü yönleri tamamlamak amacıyla kaleme alıp medrese ders müfredatına dâhil ettiği Tecvîd risalesi adlı eserinin muhteva analizi ve neşri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Mezkûr eserin bilinen tek nüshası Zokayd Medresesi Kütüphanesi’nde bulunmaktadır. Eser, tecvîd konularının birçoğunu içermekle beraber bilhassa med bahisleri ve harflerin mahreçleri hususunda (...) tafsilatlı izahlar sunmaktadır. Çalışmada öncelikle, tecvîd ilminin tarihsel gelişimi ve Siirt havzasındaki medreselerde tecvîd ve Kur’ân tilaveti tedrisinin mahiyeti ele alınarak detaylandırılmıştır. Ardından, müellifin hayatı ve ilmî şahsiyeti incelenmiş, risalenin içeriği detaylı bir şekilde tahlil edilmiştir. Tecvîd risalesi, klasik tecvîd meselelerini müellifin özgün yaklaşımıyla ele alması açısından büyük bir öneme sahiptir. Eserin neşri, elimizde bulunan tek nüsha üzerinden yapılmış ve böylece hem bölgenin tecvîd literatürüne katkı sağlanması hem de ilmî camianın istifadesine sunulması hedeflenmiştir. (shrink)

This study provides a general overview of the life, resistance against British and Zionist occupation, and poetry—especially his poems about Jerusalem—of Ibrāhīm Ṭūqān a prominent national poet and ardent defender of the Palestinian cause, born in occupied Palestine during the first half of the twentieth century. Born in 1905 into a distinguished and well-established family in Nablus, Ṭūqān was of Turkish descent on his mother’s side. He received his early education at home, completed his primary education at al-Rashādiyya School, and (...) his secondary education at the Matran School. He later moved to Beirut for higher education, enrolling in the Faculty of Arts at the American University of Beirut. Upon graduation, he began working as a lecturer at the same institution. During his university years, through his elder brother Ahmad Ṭūqān, he met several leading literary figures of the time. These relationships led to the founding of a literary club named “Dār al-Nadwa.” Due to his education under the American system, he acquired only limited familiarity with French and Turkish but became fluent in English and gained deep knowledge of English literature. This background helped him adopt the culture of modern academia, which is clearly reflected in his poetry. Ṭūqān’s poetic talent was recognized during his student years, and he earned the title “The Poet of the University” for his early studies. His poem “The Red Tuesday” (al-Thulāthāʾ al-Aḥmar), written in memory of three young men executed by Zionists, heralded his future as a major poet. With his eloquent and profound poems—particularly in the genres of ghazal, national poetry, panegyric, and elegy—he distinguished himself from his contemporaries and secured a unique place in literary circles. Beyond his literary achievements, Ṭūqān worked in various fields following his graduation, including teaching, municipal administration, commerce, and radio broadcasting. These diverse roles allowed him to engage with different segments of Palestinian society and remain in touch with the pulse of the people. He reflected the sufferings of his homeland, the hopes of his people, and the spirit of resistance against occupation in his poetry. Despite his short life, he left behind a significant literary legacy. Ṭūqān's poetry had a profound influence on Palestinian youth and was widely disseminated through oral culture. Critics have regarded him as one of the pioneers of Arabic poetry during the first forty years of the twentieth century. In addition to his famous poem “My Homeland” (Maṭhnī), which was adopted as a national anthem by Palestine and some Arab countries, his poems on Jerusalem placed him among the foremost figures of modern Arabic poetry. In his studies,Ṭūqān passionately defended the Palestinian cause, strengthened the nationalist sentiments of his people, took a firm stance against those willing to sell out the homeland, and honored the memory of Palestinian martyrs. A condição humana e a condição docente: das ilusões de onipotência ao reconhecimento do desamparo Resumo: Partindo do princípio de que todo processo educacional é aberta ou veladamente guiado por uma determinada maneira de se compreender o ser humano, procuramos nesse artigo colocar em questão os ideais de “humano”, e consequentemente, de humano-professor, que a tradição ocidental nos legou. Em seguida, tentamos indicar alguns caminhos para repensarmos contemporaneamente o que significa ser humano e, por conseguinte, o que significa ser professor. (...) Enquanto os antigos ideais insistem em projeções de poder e invulnerabilidade ao assumir uma essência imaterial para o humano, apostamos numa concepção de humano encarnado, afetivo e desejante que envolve, em contrapartida, a disposição para assumirmos o irremediável desamparo e a incontornável vulnerabilidade que são intrínsecos à condição humana. Palavras-chave: condição humana; ilusões de onipotência; desamparo The human condition and the teacher condition: from the illusions of omnipotence to the recognition of helplessness: Assuming that every educational process is openly or veiled guided by a certain way of understanding the human being, we seek in this article to question the ideals of "human," and consequently of human-teacher, that the Western tradition bequeathed to us. Next, we try to indicate some ways to rethink contemporaneously what it means to be human and, therefore, what it means to be a teacher. While the old ideals insist on projections of power and invulnerability by assuming an immaterial essence for the human, we bet on an incarnate, affective and desiring human conception that involves, on the other hand, the disposition to assume the irremediable helplessness and the unavoidable vulnerability that are intrinsic to the human condition. Encore faut-il, pour y parvenir, trouver des pourvoyeuses et pourvoyeurs de care disposé.e.s à écouter, aptes à susciter en soi le désir de se raconter. | : According to Fabienne Brugère, there is common ground between Spinoza’s ethics and the ethics of care, which can be regarded as a renewal of the Spinozan concept of ‘conatus.’ This article aims to demonstrate that this form of convergence can be based upon a narrative ethic as inspired by Paul Ricoeur’s thought. It is mainly about how people can perceive themselves both as mind and body, insofar as “mind” is defined by Spinoza as the “idea of the body.” The Spinozan ethic leads us to make ourselves useful to other people in order to expand our capacity to be and to free ourselves from a form of servitude that is somewhat linked to vulnerability as it is defined in the ethics of care. Therefore, vulnerable people each need to develop consistent ideas of their bodies if they wish to feel that they do exist. Narrative is one of the many ways of advancing in that direction. However, vulnerable people should not be alone; they must be accompanied by care providers who have a sympathetic ear and who can arouse in them the desire to tell and share their stories. (shrink)

Kitâb-ı Mukaddes’te Âdem soyunun temsilcisi ve insanoğlunun tufan öncesi atası olarak anlatılan Şit, semitik dinî geleneklerin tarihî anlatılarında büyük bir öneme sahiptir. O, bir ata olarak, hem içinden peygamberlerin, ataların ve kralların çıktığı kutsal soyun atası hem de nebevî karakteriyle kutsal kitap geleneğinin öncüsü kabul edilir. Kutsal metinde hikâyesi çok hızlı ve ayrıntısız olarak verilse de Helenistik dönem Yahudiliğinde büyük bir dinî değere haiz olan Şit’in önemi erken dönem Hıristiyanlık’ta daha da artmıştır. Temel olarak Şit anlatılarında Yahudi hikmet geleneğinin daha (...) etkili olması, onun Musa şeriatından farklı bir yere konumlandırılmasına yol açmıştır. İlk Hıristiyanlar ise onu gnostik hareketlerin etkisiyle İsa-Mesih’i hatırlatacak bir noktaya yükseltmişlerdir. Fakat adına atfedilen ve gerek Yahudi gerekse Hıristiyan ortodoksiye aykırı kabul edilen gnostik Şitiyen hareketin marjinal görüşleri halkın ilgisini çekince, Şit’e dair rivayetler azalmış ve zamanla kutsal metindeki sıradan bir figür haline gelmiştir. Kur’an-ı Kerim’in herhangi bir atıf yapmadığı Şit anlatıları ise Yahudi-Hıristiyan geleneğin etkisiyle aşamalı olarak İslam’a girmiş ve İslami forma dönüştürülmüştür. Bu çalışmada Tevrat anlatılarından itibaren Yahudi-Hıristiyan geleneğin Şit anlatılarının tarihsel seyri ele alınacaktır ve İslam’a etkisi irdelenecektir. Çalışma konusu gereği mesele kronolojik ve karşılaştırmalı olarak ele alınacak, Şit’e ilişkin rivayetlerin tarihsel analizi ortaya konacaktır. (shrink)

In this study, Qāḍī Abd al-Jābbār’s views on knowing Allah (ma‘rifatullah) and following issues have been analysed. In this context, either the divine message has reached to a person or not, it is examined whether ma‘rifatullah is obligatory (wajib) upon him. Subsequently, it is discussed whether this obligation is ensured by reasoning (‘aql) or revelation (naql). Furthermore, while keeping in mind the role of intellect (nazar) and argumentation (istidlāl), we have established and evaluated religious state and source of nazar and (...) istidlāl. Also, we discussed to what extend God can be the subject of knowledge and from which aspects He can be known. Besides, we discussed whether ma‘rifatullah is an obligation and if not what its justification is. In addition, we examined whether imitative knowledge (taqlīd) is possible in the case of ma‘rifatullah or not and whether it’s sufficient to know God just by taqlīd without the reasoning at all. Finally, Qāḍī Abd al-Jābbār’s opinions on the religious situation of people to whom the divine revelation did not reach at all and so they lack of knowledge on God. (shrink)

Nahiv metodolojisinde şiirle istişhâd ve şair tabakaları denilince; Cahiliyye dönemi şairleri, Muhadram şairler, İslâmî dönem şairler ve Müvelled şairler şeklinde dört tabaka akla gelmektedir. Bunlardan ilk ikisinin istişhâd değeri taşıdığı ve sonuncusunun taşımadığı noktasında nahiv bilginlerince uzlaşı söz konusudur. Literatürde verilen bilgiye göre; mütekaddimûn veya üçüncü tabaka da denilen İslâmi dönem şairlerinin şiirleri ise sahih olan kavle göre istişhâd değeri taşısa da söz konusu dönemin şairleriyle muasır olan meşhur dil bilginleri bu tabakanın şiirlerini istişhâda değer görmemişlerdir. Klasik literatürde bazı kaynaklarda (...) ve özellikle modern literatürde bu bilginlerin söz konusu tavrı takınmalarının nedeni olarak; başta Ferezdak (ö. 114/732) olmak üzere Kümeyt el-Esedî (ö. 126/744) ve Zürrumme (ö. 117/735) gibi şairlerin şiirlerinin lahn barındırdığı veya bu şairlerin çağdaşlarınca müvelled kabul edildiği hususu gösterilmiştir. Araştırma derinleştirildiğinde ise nahiv bilginlerinin bu neslin şairlerini tenkit etmelerindeki tek nedenlerin bunlar olmadığı, bunların yanı sıra siyasi ve mezhebi etmenlerin de bu tenkitlere yön verdiğine şahit olunmuştur. Yine ilgili bilginlerin söz konusu şairlerin beyitleriyle ilgili birbiriyle tenakuz teşkil eden dilsel tutumlarda bulundukları da gözlenmiştir. Böylece bu çelişki araştırmanın hareket noktasını teşkil etmiş, meseleyi çözümlemek için etraflı bir araştırma inceleme ihtiyacı hâsıl olmuştur. (shrink)
